Terms for creators, version 2

Version 2. In force from 8 October 2026. Replaces version 1, which was a placeholder.

These terms apply when you use Hollaro to make paid posts for webshops. We have written them as short and clear as we can. Where we are fairer than others or promise more than the law requires, we say so. The Danish text is the master; this English text matches it.

1. Who we are, and who you are

  • Hollaro is run by SVEA IT, a sole proprietorship (enkeltmandsvirksomhed), CVR 36606061, Alstrup Skovvej 18, 4840 Nørre Alslev, Denmark. E-mail: hello@hollaro.com. This is also our point of contact under the EU Digital Services Act (DSA). You can write in Danish or English.
  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You work for yourself. You are not employed by us or by the webshop, and you decide which offers you take.

2. Your profile

  • You sign in with the account you already use (TikTok, Instagram or YouTube). We read your username, your public profile and the numbers the platform gives you access to, such as followers and views. We never store information about your individual followers.
  • If we built a profile about you from public data, you can make it yours, say "this is not me", or ask us to delete it with one click. If you delete it, we do not build it again.
  • You confirm which categories you post about. Only those count.
  • The information about you must be correct.

3. Offers

  • How we order your offers: how well the offer fits your categories (weighs most), whether it fits your platform and your link placement, how much it pays, and how new it is. On a tie, the highest pay and the newest offer come first. Nobody pays to rank higher. You can filter and sort for yourself.
  • With each offer you see the webshop's measured record: how fast it approves, automatic approvals, revision rounds, disputes, whether it paid on time, and completed deals. A new webshop or a new creator is new, not bad. Where there is no history, it says "New", never a low score.
  • Each offer shows whether you can take it, and why not if you cannot. If your profile has no link field, you can still take offers with a discount code and a fixed fee.
  • Offers show the pay you are guaranteed. We do not show "expected earnings".

4. Making a deal

  • You accept an offer at once or apply and wait for an answer, depending on the offer. If the answer is no, you see the reason.
  • The terms are a contract. Each offer has a numbered terms version: pay, number of posts, requirements, brief, deadline, approval, revision rounds, minimum live period and the rule for posts removed early. Your deal keeps the version you accepted or applied under, for good. If the webshop changes the campaign, that applies to new deals only.
  • You can have one deal per campaign.
  • The money is reserved once the deal is made. The webshop paid for the whole campaign at Stripe before it went live, so the pay for your deal is ready.
  • Before you can start, you set up payouts with Stripe (section 10). If you do not finish within the time you are shown, an approval lapses. You can then apply again.

5. Making the post

  • You get a kit with the brief, your own link and/or your discount code, and the ad label that must come first.
  • Deadline: it is in the terms. We remind you before it. After the deadline you have a short grace period (today 48 hours). The clock stops while the webshop reviews your draft and while we check your post.
  • If the product is sent to you, you give the webshop your address in the deal's messages. If the webshop does not send it within the waiting time, the deal is cancelled with no consequence for you.
  • If the content needs approval, you send a draft. The webshop answers within the response window, or the draft is approved automatically. It can ask for at most as many revisions as the terms say.
  • The ad label comes first. Under section 6(4) of the Danish Marketing Practices Act and the Danish Consumer Ombudsman's guidance, you write "Reklame" or "Annonce" and whom it is for first in every post, also when you only got a product. On video also first in the title and on screen. A link to the webshop carries "Reklamelink" or "Annoncelink". Tags, hashtags at the end, "in collaboration with" and the platform's own label are not enough. You are responsible for the label, and the webshop can be too.
  • No one may ask you to hide the ad. If a webshop does, write to us.
  • The post must be public, posted from the account the deal is for, and carry your link or code if the terms say so.
  • Only say what you yourself think about the product and have experienced.

6. Checking the post

  • When you have sent the link to your post, we check it: fixed rules (for example whether "Reklame" comes early enough, whether the post is public and from your account) and an AI-assisted check of the public post.
  • The AI helps; it does not decide. Rules and AI suggest. A person on our team decides before your pay is held back. Today a person confirms every single check. We usually answer within 1 working day.
  • If something is missing that you can fix, you get the exact fix, for example "Put 'Reklame' at the start of the caption and resubmit".
  • Our check helps you get it right, but it is not a legal approval.

7. How you get paid

  • Earning: once the post is approved, the pay is earning while the post stays up. We check it once a day during the minimum live period.
  • Earned: when the minimum live period has passed and the last check is fine, the pay is earned. It is sent to your Stripe account.
  • Payout: on the 1st of each month we pay out balances of at least 200 kr. On 1 January, April, July and October we pay out every balance, whatever the amount. Money you have earned is paid out at the latest 85 days after it was earned. One exception: Stripe pays out at least 20 kr. A smaller balance waits until it reaches 20 kr., and you are told.
  • Your balance never expires. It is not lost, not even if you close your account or we end the agreement.
  • Pay is held back only with a reason and an expected date that you can see. Reasons can be: a review of a post in progress, a dispute, a specific suspicion of cheating, your Stripe account not being ready, or missing information we need under the tax rules (section 12).
  • You can see every amount and its state: earning, earned, scheduled and paid, each with a date.
  • Your pay is the amount in the terms. Our fee is paid by the webshop on top and is not taken from your pay.

8. When a post comes down or the deal ends early

  • If your post is removed during the minimum live period, you are told and get 48 hours to put it back. If you do, the minimum live period carries on as if nothing happened.
  • If you do not put it back, the deal ends and you are paid pro rata for the days the post was up. Example: the minimum live period is 30 days and the post was up for 12 days. Then you get 12/30 of the pay.
  • The same applies when a deal whose posts have gone live ends early for another reason, for example because the product is discontinued or because you agree to stop. You are always paid for the days your posts were up.
  • Time when a post was down does not count. If it was a fault at the platform and the post was up all along, all the time counts.

9. Withdrawing and cancelling

  • You can withdraw from a deal until the post is published. Nothing is paid then.
  • The webshop alone can cancel until you have submitted content. After that only if you both agree, or if we decide it with a reason.
  • If the webshop never sends the product, or removes the product from its shop, the deal is cancelled with no consequence for you.
  • If you miss the deadline plus the grace period, the deal is cancelled without pay. If you received a product and did not post, it is noted in your record. If that happens too often (today twice), you can no longer take offers where products are sent.
  • What happens to a product you received is set in the campaign's terms. If they say nothing, you keep it.
  • Every cancellation has a reason you can see.

10. Payments through Stripe

  • Payments to you are made through Stripe. Payment processing services for creators on Hollaro are provided by Stripe and are subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Services Agreement (together, the Stripe agreement). By accepting these terms or continuing to receive payments through Hollaro, you also accept the Stripe agreement, as Stripe may change it from time to time. You can read it at https://stripe.com/legal/connect-account.
  • For us to pay you through Stripe, you must give us and Stripe correct and complete information about you and your business. You allow us to share it and information about your payments with Stripe.
  • You set up your payout account in Stripe's own form (Stripe Express). Stripe checks your identity. We never see your full account number or your ID documents.
  • We decide when payouts happen (section 7), so the rules are the same for everyone. You therefore cannot start payouts yourself or change the payout schedule in Stripe.
  • Stripe handles your information under its own privacy policy: https://stripe.com/privacy.

11. Corrections

  • We never take money from your Stripe account. Your Stripe balance cannot go negative because of us.
  • If you were paid too much because of an obvious error or cheating on your side, we tell you why and may set the amount off against later earnings on Hollaro, at most half of each later payout.
  • A dispute about a post that has already been paid is settled the same way, never by taking money from you.

12. Tax and reporting (DAC7)

  • You handle your own tax and any VAT. Both money and products you receive for a post can be taxable.
  • Under the EU directive on administrative cooperation (DAC7) and the Danish rules, platforms like Hollaro must report information about sellers to the Danish Tax Agency (Skattestyrelsen). Before we pay you out for the first time, we therefore ask for your name, address, date of birth, CPR number or foreign tax number, and CVR and VAT number if you have them.
  • Each quarter we total how much you were paid, the fees and the number of deals. We report this to the Danish Tax Agency once a year, and by 31 January we tell you what we reported for the year before.
  • If the information is still missing after two reminders and 60 days, we hold back payouts until it arrives. The balance is still yours and does not expire.

13. Rights to your content

  • You own the copyright in your posts.
  • The webshop may share and repost the post organically on its own channels (social media, website, newsletter) during the minimum live period plus 12 months, naming you. It may not edit it so the meaning changes.
  • Use as a paid ad (boost, partnership ad, whitelisting, Spark Ads and the like) needs your separate agreement and separate pay. You can say no with no consequence.
  • We may show your content on the platform to run the deal (checks, review, disputes) and keep it as a record. We do not use it in our own marketing without asking you.
  • You are responsible for having the right to what you post, for example music and other people in the picture.

14. Fair use

  • Not allowed: bought followers or views, fake clicks, clicking your own links to push the numbers up, using someone else's account, fooling the check, posting and removing a post to get paid, and taking products without making the post.
  • We count clicks on your links and filter out bots, repeat clicks and unusual patterns. Clicks do not affect your pay today, because you are paid per post. A suspicious pattern leads to an investigation, never to a verdict on its own.
  • Your measured record (for example posting on time, your ad labelling, response time and completed deals) is based on what you actually did.
  • A deal made on the platform must be completed on the platform. Beyond that, we do not forbid you from working with webshops elsewhere.

15. Moderation, suspension and termination

  • Report illegal content to hello@hollaro.com: where it is, why you believe it is illegal, your name and e-mail, and that you write in good faith. We confirm we received it, handle it carefully and impartially, and tell you the outcome.
  • Statement of reasons: if we remove or restrict content, your account or a payment, you get a reason: what we did, which facts it rests on, whether automation was involved, which term or law it rests on, and how to complain.
  • You can close your account at any time. Open deals must be completed or cancelled first.
  • We can end the agreement with 30 days' notice and a reason. Without notice only for serious or repeated breaches, cheating, or when the law requires it, and then also with a reason.
  • Money you have earned is always paid out, also after termination. If there is a specific case of cheating, the parts the case is about wait until it is decided.

16. Complaints and disagreements

  • Write to hello@hollaro.com. We confirm within 2 working days and answer within 14 days. If it takes longer, we say why.
  • To complain about a decision on content, your account or a payment, write within 6 months. A person looks at the case again.
  • If you and the webshop disagree about a deal, a person looks at the terms, the messages and the check and decides with a reason. You can always go to court.

17. Liability, changes, law and courts

  • We work to keep the platform running, but cannot promise it will never have errors or downtime. We are not liable for indirect loss, such as other deals you missed.
  • Our total liability to you is at most the larger of two amounts: the fees we received for your deals in the last 12 months, or 5,000 kr. This limit does not apply to intent or gross negligence, and it never limits pay you have earned. If you are a consumer, nothing here limits the rights you have under mandatory law.
  • A change to these terms is a new version. We send it by e-mail at least 15 days before it applies, and you can close your account before then. Deals you have already made keep their terms. Shorter notice only when the law requires it, or when the change is only in your favour.
  • We may transfer the agreement to a company that takes over running Hollaro. We give notice of that in the same way.
  • Danish law applies. A case we cannot settle together is decided by the Copenhagen City Court (Københavns Byret) as the first instance. If you are a consumer, you can also bring the case before the court where you live.
